When American Idol 7 was just starting, Filipinos were glued on their TV screens not for David Cook but for one petite girl who has Filipino blood running in her veins - Ramiele Malubay. Many were hoping that she would be at least the next Jasmine Trias and she even hoped for that also. Unfortunately, Ramiele was eliminated early on the show and bagged the ninth place on American Idol. I know a lot has been hoping that she will set foot here in the Philippines. Ramiele also expressed her willingness to go here in the Philippines and pursue a career just like what Jasmine Trias did. ‘Guess that won’t be for too long.
