I heard about Belle De Jour Power Planner last year. Since I’m always on the lookout for different planners/organizers, I decided to get one and use a BDJ planner for this year 2008. I actually used two - the other one from Starbucks - but my BDJ planner is used for work related stuff.
Sometime this quarter or last (I hardly remember), BDJ had a survey for the improvement of their planners that they will be offering for 2009. I participated in the survey, thinking of just letting they know how I am satisfied with their 2008 edition. Then, just this week I found out that I won a BDJ Planner 2009 just for taking part on the survey and offering a suggestion. 
For the 2009 edition, the theme of the planner is focused on the 1970s fashion. It is binded by a special double wire and the size is the same as last year. It also comes with 60 coupons from various lifestyle brands, total discounts estimated would reach over Php10000. The planner will also have two ribbons as bookmarkers.
Belle De Jour Power Planner is already accepting reservations/orders for their 2009 edition. SRP is Php598. If you get to make a reservation on or before October 30, you will get a 5% discount plus free delivery within the Philippines. With my 4 years as a part of the workforce, I only have BPI (Bank of the Philippine Islands) as my bank. Mostly because it is the one used for work and BPI is mostly everywhere. You can see a BPI ATM just around the corner. But lately, I’ve been noticing that BPI has been having problems. Whenever it’s nearing salary day, most of their ATMs are down or under maintenance which is a total hassle.
So, I’m thinking of opening another bank account- just thinking. One of my options is BDO (Banco de Oro). I visited their website to check their savings account lists and account opening requirements. I got answers for my first inquiry but the site does not a have a list of requirements for opening an account. Good thing, there’s a BDO branch near my office building so I decided to go there and ask for their requirements.

We have a vendo here in the office that offers quite a few ranges of coffee but having a free coffee is the best. Too bad I’m not a coffee drinker. 
Got this cup of Great Taste coffee and Swiss Miss creamer at the building lobby. There were people handing this cup to promote the Swiss Miss creamer. Thought it was hot choco that’s why I got one but it wasn’t. Anyways, free coffee is still FREE coffee! Will just hand this out to an officemate.
